Terms of service

Effective October 14, 2026.

The service and your account

These terms govern Startup Tier, operated by Inferal Inc., a Delaware corporation. Contact contact@inferal.com about the service or these terms. You must be at least 18 and have authority to agree for any business you represent. Keep account access secure and provide accurate information.

One account can maintain startup profiles and operate company programs. Social sign-in verifies an account identity; it does not certify ownership, company authority, investment suitability, or the accuracy of a profile. You are responsible for the startups, companies, and programs you represent.

Your information and applications

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Inferal permission to host, store, display, and process it as needed to provide the service and implement your sharing choices, including delivery to programs you apply to and available application briefs. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content.

Discovery permission, contact permission, and research permission are separate. Applying shares your selected profile and answers with the program operator. A submitted application is a snapshot; later profile changes or withdrawal from discovery do not automatically remove that application from its recipient’s records.

Only upload logos and other content you are entitled to use. Do not submit credentials, unlawful material, or confidential or sensitive information that the service is not designed to handle. Program operators should request only information needed for their program.

Programs and introductions

Program operators set their own eligibility, application requirements, benefits, and participation terms. They are responsible for their representations, review decisions, and use of applicant information. Founders should review each program’s terms before applying or sharing additional information.

A listing, subscription, invitation, or application does not guarantee admission, funding, a commercial agreement, leads, or any other result. Startup Tier facilitates discovery and applications; it is not a party to agreements you make with another user or program.

Paid company plans

Startup accounts are free. Paid company plans are billed through Stripe. The plan, included features, currency, billing interval, applicable taxes, and total charge are shown before you subscribe. Features described as planned or unavailable are not included as working features until expressly offered.

Monthly subscriptions renew monthly. Annual subscriptions are charged for a full year upfront and renew annually; an annual price expressed as a monthly equivalent is not a monthly payment plan. Unless you cancel, you authorize the recurring charges disclosed at checkout.

Manage payment methods and cancellation through the billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. The portal shows the timing and any prorated charge or credit before a plan change is confirmed. Contact us about refund requests or billing errors. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory cancellation, refund, or consumer rights.

Discovery and other paid features require an eligible subscription. A failed payment, cancellation, or plan change can change access. It does not grant permission to retain or use other users’ information beyond the purposes for which it was shared.

Respectful and secure use

Do not impersonate others, misrepresent a program, access another workspace’s private records, bypass payment or permission checks, scrape or resell personal information, or use the service for spam, harassment, fraud, or unlawful activity. Respect contact permissions and applicable privacy and communications laws.

Report suspected security issues privately to contact@inferal.com. Do not access, alter, or disclose another person’s data to demonstrate a problem. We may restrict access reasonably needed to protect users, investigate abuse, respond to legal requirements, or address a breach of these terms.

Research and AI outputs

Public-source research and AI briefs, when available, can contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Check original evidence and make your own decisions. AI briefs support human application review; they do not establish eligibility or automatically accept, reject, or score founders.

Do not treat a generated brief or public-source summary as professional advice, a verified fact, or a substitute for appropriate review. Do not use the service to infer sensitive personal traits or make unlawful discriminatory decisions.

Changes, availability, and ending use

We work to keep the service useful and secure, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or error-free information. We may update the service and will provide appropriate notice of material changes to paid plans or these terms. Changes to recurring prices will be disclosed before they apply to a renewal.

You may stop using the service, cancel paid renewals in the billing portal, and request account deletion through contact@inferal.com. Some billing, security, dispute, and submitted application records may need to be retained as described in the privacy notice. Nonwaivable rights under applicable law continue to apply.
